Lingotter Terms of Service

Lingotter provides live transcription, translation, screen captions, and attendee caption pages for in-person meetings.

The service depends on the host browser, audio input, network environment, and third-party AI speech recognition and translation services. Venue device or network issues may affect caption quality.

Captions are generated live by AI and may include errors, omissions, delays, or contextual misunderstandings.

Captions are for live comprehension assistance only and are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. They should not be the only official meeting record.

Hosts should notify attendees before use that audio is processed by third-party services for live transcription and translation.

Lingotter uses prepaid Credits for live translation. Hosts add Credits before going live; promotional codes reduce the amount paid but do not reduce the Credits granted for the selected top-up.

Credits are deducted by the minute while a live session is active. The exact charge is calculated from the published hourly rate and billable live time; sponsored meetings may be provided without wallet charges.

Each Credit purchase is valid for 12 months from purchase. Credits are not redeemable for cash, have no cash value, and may not be transferred. Except where required by law or expressly approved for a duplicate payment or clear service issue, Credits are non-refundable.

Hosts are responsible for confirming they have the right to capture venue audio and for giving attendees necessary notice.

Hosts must not use the service for unlawful content or to collect or distribute sensitive information without authorization.

Complete microphone, audio interface, network, and casting tests before formal events.

We may update these terms for product, legal, or operational reasons. Material changes will be surfaced through product pages or other reasonable means when possible.
